Acton Depot open day again. The husband was desperate for the latest limited edition EFE buses that are released just for the open days.
We met up outside with stroppy cow and her boy.. her boy and the husband bonded rather quickly over their matching geek levels.. A 30 year age gap seemed to make no difference!

Stamps in a "passport" were collected so the lucky bag could be retreived, and the buses were bought.. I think we each took a happy but tired by home with us ;)

Sarah mis-understood a tradition and insisted all guests bought a home made cake, which were then piled up for them to kiss over.

I realised I forgot to give a wedding update.. The day was wonderful and ended up going without a hitch.. Mum looked stunning, her dress was prfect, and she ended up wearing the tiara I had for my wedding, and it looked great.

Driving through the open area at Whipsnade Zoo, a camel walked out in front of us. It then walked down the side of the car.. My brain said "good photo op".. As I took the pic the camel bent down for a closer look at me. I couldn't close the window fast enough *laugh*

I've realised one of the strangest things about having given up smoking..

A complete inability to feel as drunk as I truly am.. and so I continue drinking.

If I said I was never drinking again, would anyone actually believe me?!

The War of the Worlds - LIVE!

I bought tickets for this for the husband, as its a big childhood favourite of his. We went last night to the one at Wembley Arena, and it was great. OK, it had its cheesy moments for sure (it was very 70's *giggles*), and I ended up in fits of giggles every time Justin Hayward came on stage as he was aging rock star through and through. Time flew, even if Wembley Arena was about 100^oc and we were squished in like sardines.. I enjoyed it so much more than expected. The lighting was stunning, and worth the ticket price alone.
